  4. Titanic Underwater After hitting the iceberg the Titanic now rests in the North Atlantic Ocean. This is the path of the Titanic. The X is where the Titanic sank.

  5. If I could explore the Titanic, what would I take...

  6. Scuba Gear I would need scuba gear because I'm going underwater. Scuba gear would allow me to breathe underwater.

  7. Underwater Camera I would need a waterproof camera to take pictures to show I completed the exploration. It would also allow me to take pictures of plants and fish. Camera goggles would help keep my hands free.

  8. Knife I would need a knife to cut away artefacts. A knife would also be good for protection.

  9. Underwater Dive Case I would need an underwater dive case to hold the artefacts I find. I would also need an underwater dive case to hold my knife.

  10. Underwater Metal Detector I would need an underwater metal detector to find artefacts such as silver, gold, coins and other interesting things.

  11. Not only were there not enough life boats, but the boats they had were not holding their capacity. The fourth funnel was just for show – it did not work. Two dogs made it into the lifeboats. the two that were rescued were a Pomeranian and a Pekinese. From the time the lookouts sounded the alert, the officers on the Titanic had only 37 seconds to react before the Titanic hit the iceberg.
