THE REST OF THE STUDENTS ARE THE FOLLOWING PER CLASS: 3CK Cowboys/Cowgirls (sing and dance: TELL ME) 3 J Bubble gum (sing and dance: Bubble gum goo) 3GK Cactus (sing and dance: Sticky situation) 3S TOWNSFOLK; COWBOYS/GIRLS (sing and dance: CHRISTMAS IN THE WEST) 3CK OFF STAGE AFTER OPENING SONG, SPEAKERS TO THEIR STANDING SPOTS ALL RISER STUDENTS SIT (SIGNAL 1) SETTING: The Old West - The O.K. Corral, near a small town called Snowy Gulch TIME: Christmas Eve, a real long time ago OPENING SONG: "Christmas in the West” now FINISHED The townspeople/speaking parts (all characters except: SANTA, BART, CANDY CANE KID AND COMET WHO SIT OFF STAGE) are gathered (at their assigned spots) at the O.K. Corral on Christmas Eve. They are decorating it for the big Christmas festival. Everyone is very happy and excited about Christmas. Now… Bubble Gum Bart ENTERS to his THEME MUSIC, he stomps his boots as he walks and his spurs jingle with each step. he is also chewing loudly and blows a bubble, which pops loudly .MUSIC: ”Bart's Theme” During his theme, Bart walks ominously around checking out the people and the decorations and snarling a lot. After his theme music ends, Bart speaks. Ethan Bubble Gum Bart: What's all this ruckus? Everyone stops what they are doing. They turn their attention to Bart.

  5. Amaya Mayor: (pompously) Why, we're decorating the O.K. Corral for the big Christmas celebration, of course. Alia Mayor's Assistant: (snobbishly) Today is Christmas Eve, you know. Annabelle Betsy Bookworm: (sweetly) We have an awful lot to do to get ready! Ethan Bart: Oh, no you don't! Not this time! Jack Scoop: What do you mean? Ethan Bart: I mean... NO CHRISTMAS! Grace Sarah Speakers 1 & 2:(shocked) No Christmas? Cooper Ironsides: You can't be serious! Sadie Pennywise: We have to have Christmas! Thijs Watchman: Yes, it is written on my watchman calendar! Oscar Pony: Please let us have Christmas! Aniela Puppy: Yip, Yip! Roman Quickwhiskers: You can't stop up! Ethan Bart: Oh, yeah? Bart pulls the big wad of bubble gum out of his mouth and deliberately sticks it to the Snowy Gulch sign. He then laughs an evil laugh. The townspeople gasp and hug each other in fear. They mumble: ALL: (ad lib) Oh, no!... What does he mean?... What can we do? SONG: "Bubble Gum Goo” Stage speakers sit in back of stage to assigned spots 3J bubble gum go up on stage in front position

  6. Bubble Gum GOO 3J DANCING Choreographed by 3J HAND OUT – STOP SIGN CROSS ARMS WITH AN ATTITUDE Bubble Gum Bart is a nasty old dude. He’s got a rotten attitude. SHRUG SHOULDERS What do you think that he will do? ARMS OUT, “COVERING” Bart: I’ll cover this town in bubble gum goo! PICK BUBBLE GUM OFF OF ARMS, HAIR, ETC….. Eeeeyooo! HANDS BLINKING TO LEFT HAND BLINKING TO RIGHT Bubble gum goo! Bubble gum goo! SHRUG SHOULDERS What will the folks in Snowy Gulch do? HAND BLINKING TO LEFT HANDS BLINKING TO RIGHT Bubble gum goo! Bubble gum goo! ARMS OUT, ‘COVERING’ Bart: I’ll cover this town in bubble gum goo! PICK BUBBLE GUM FROM ARMS, HAIR ETC…. Blah!

  7. SNEAK AROUND DURING MUSIC CAT HANDS POINT WITH AN ATTITUDE He’s a mean old pole cat, we can see; He aint’ gonna tolerate our Christmas glee! SHRUG There’s not a thing that we can do ARMS OUT, ‘COVERING’ PICK BUBBLE GUM FROM HANDS Bart: I’ll cover this town in Bubble Gum Goo! Gross! (SING NEXT SECTION TWICE) ********BLINKING HANDS TO THE LEFT; BLINKING HANDS TO THE RIGHT Bubble gum goo! Bubble gum goo! SHRUG What will the folks in Snowy Gulch do? BLINKING HANDS TO THE LEFT; BLINKING HANDS TO THE RIGHT Bubble gum goo! Bubble gum goo! ARMS OUT, ‘COVERING’ Bart: I’ll cover this town in bubble gum goo! PICK BUBBLE GUM FROM HAIR, ARMS, ETC….. ************** Yuck! ( BART :EVIL LAUGH AT END OF SECOND CHORUS)

  8. 3J OFF STAGE, ALL RISER STUDENTS SIGNAL 1 (SIT) Speakers back to STANDING spots After the song, Bart puts another piece of bubble gum into his mouth. BART EXITS OFF STAGE LAUGHING. Jasmin Cowpoke:Oh, no! Whatever shall we do? (pokes cow) Annie Cow: Oww! Jasmin Cowpoke:Oh, no! Whatever shall we do? (pokes cow) Annie Cow: Oww! Stop it! Why are you doing that? Jasmin Cowpoke: I can’t help it……., I’m just a little cow poke! Sonia Miner: I want to head for the hills, back to my gold mines! Jack Scoop: If we try to have Christmas, Bart will cover us all in... bubble gum! Exaggerate sobs. Wring hands. Cooper Ironsides: We're doomed! Sadie Pennywise: We've got to stop him somehow! Roman Quickwhiskers: But, what can we do? Alia Mayor's Assistant: (to the mayor) You're the Mayor! Do something! Amaya Mayor: Confound it, lady! I'm thinking, I'm thinking! Mayor and several others pace nervously for a minute. They all appear to be thinking out loud. They are scratching their heads, wringing their hands or touching their index fingers to their chins as if deep in thought and shaking their heads, muttering audibly: ALL: (ad lib) Well, we could...no, no...that won't work... Cooper Ironsides: (thrusting an index finger into the air) I've got it! Why don't we telegraph Santa Claus for help?

  9. Grace Sarah Speakers 1 & 2: Yes!...Of course! Amaya Mayor: (putting her hand up to silence the crown) Why, yes. (clearing thoat) I was just about to make that exact suggestion myself. Alia Mayor's Assistant: Of course you were, Ma'am. Annabelle Betsy: So, let's do it! Sadie Pennywise: There's no time to lose! Cali Telegraph operator: I’ll telegraph the message to Santa right now! (gets out telegraph key) Everyone listen! (MUSIC STARTS) Speakers to back of stage and sit (EXCEPT FOR CALI TELEGRAPH OPERATOR) 3GK up on stage to dancing spots SONG: "Sticky Situation” While 3GK cactus does the song. When song is done 3GK leaves stage.

  10. Sticky Situation CHOREOGRAPHED BY 3GK (Music plays… move hands “cheerleader style” left to right) Dear Santa, please help. Begging hands We need you POINT , to give your concentration TWO HANDS OUT POINT TO HEAD Santa, we fear HANDS ON FACE We’re caught up, HANDS UP (LIKE YOU ARE CAUGHT DOING SOMETHING!) Up in a sticky, sticky situation. DISCO HANDS Sticky Situation. MONKEY DANCE Sticky Situation. L HAND R HAND HANDS OUT Sticky Situation. EGYPTIAN HANDS Dear Santa, please help. BEGGING HANDS We need you (POINT) , to help our celebration. (JAZZ HANDS) Santa, we need (POINT, THEN POINT OUT AND ACROSS) To get out Out of this sticky, sticky situation.   12. 3GK off stage, speakers back to front spots. Adam SANTA and Cricket COMET get up on stage Adam Santa: Well we just got an important message from your telegraph operator! This is serious! I'd better send for help! (He turns to COMET) Comet my trusty reindeer- Would you send The Candy Cane Kid in here please? Cricket Comet: Got cha’ boss! (comet goes off stage to get the kid) KID THEME PLAYS…The Kid enters with Comet. Cricket Comet: Here she is boss! Gillian Kid: You sent for me? Adam Santa: These folks from Snowy Gulch need your help. A boy named Bart wants to cover their town with bubble gum and ruin their Christmas! Gillian Kid: (turns to townsfolk) Howdy, folks. All speakers- Howdy Candy Cane kid!

  13. Amaya Mayor: Mam, we are in need of your assistance! Alia Mayor's Assistant:That dreadful Bubblegum person won't let us have Christmas! Thijs Watchman: He says we're too noisy! Cooper Ironsides: He says we're too happy! Sonia Miner: He says he'll cover us all in bubble gum if we even try! Jasmin Cowpoke: This is terrible! Annie Cow: Yeah, mooo! Grace Sarah Speaker 1 & 2: It’s a tragedy! Cali Telegraph Operator: We don't know what to do! Gillian Kid: I think I have an idea! Leave it to the Candy Cane Kid! Kids theme plays and Candy Cane kid does muscle poses. Music ends. Oscar Pony:(points off stage) Look who’s coming! It doesn’t look good. Aniela Puppy: Yip, yip (Bart comes back on stage) oh no!! Bart’s theme music plays as he walks around then at the end he stands next to the Candy Cane Kid. He snarls and stamps his feet a few times then looks the kid in the eyes. Gillian Kid: Bubble Gum Bart, I'm calling you out! Bart Growls… Gillian Kid: I hear you're being a big meanie. Ethan Bart: So what?

  14. Gillian Kid: So, I thought you might tell me why you're so mean. Ethan Bart: (surprised) What? What do you mean...why? Gillian Kid: (walking over to Bart) Well there must be a reason. (She puts her hand on Bart's shoulder.) Do you want to...talk about it? Bart looks at Kid for a few seconds with his mean and angry face, still snarling. All of a sudden, he loses his anger and he breaks down and starts blubbering wildly. Gillian Kid: (hugging and patting Bart) There, there. Tell me about it. Ethan Bart: (still crying) Nobody likes me. Bart continues sobbing, and Kid continues to pat him reassuringly. Gillian Kid: Awww. There, there. It's okay. Betsy steps out of the crowd and slowly walks up to Bart. She puts her hand on his shoulder gently. Annabelle Betsy: I like you. Bart stops sobbing and looks at her. Ethan Bart: You...you do? AnnabelleBetsy: Uh-huh. Cooper Ironsides: (also stepping forward) I like you, too. Bart sniffs and wipes his eyes. Oscar Pony: Me, too! Sadie Pennywise: Me, too!

  15. All of the townspeople step toward Bart. Grace Sarah Speakers 1 & 2: We all do! Speakers to back of stage TO SITTING SPOTS EXCEPT FOR BART ALL RISER STUDENTS SIGNAL 3 (UP) 3S ON STAGE SONG: "Tell Me” (TOWN PEOPLE) 3S comes on stage sings and dances, when done off stage.

  16. Tell Me - CHOREOGRAPHED BY 3S Tell me what’s on your mind, POINT TO HEAD And I will tell you too. POINT OUT Please tell me your feelings. HAND ON HEART I want to share with you. ARMS OUT I will try to listen, to all you have to say. HAND ON EAR You can trust in me, I promise. HUG SELF Please don’t be afraid. ARMS OUT, BRING BACK AND COVER FACE. HANDS TO EAR CROSS HANDS IN FRONT; SIGN THE WORD ‘TALK’ Tell me the way you feel and we will talk it through. Please tell me what you need. ARMS OUT, BRING BACK I’ll try to give to you. POINT OUT HAND OVER MOUTH You can tell your secrets. SIGN ‘LOVE’ I will cherish them for you. HUG SELF I will trust in you, I promise. THUMBS UP I’ll tell you what’s true. Jack Scoop: We should have tried to talk things out before. Annabelle Betsy: We've wasted too much time. Amaya Mayor:Not anymore! (turns to Bart and clears throat importantly) As mayor of Snowy Gulch, I'd like to officially invite you to join our Christmas at the O.K. Corral! Everyone cheers, claps, whistles. Sadie Pennywise: We really want you here! Ethan Bart: Oh, thank you! I would love to! Cricket Comet: And let’s not forget to thank Santa and the Candy Cane Kid! Grace Sarah Speakers 1 & 2: Thank you very much! Aniela Puppy: Yip, yip! Cooper Ironsides: Now we can really enjoy the holidays! Annabelle Betsy: All of us together! Jack Scoop: This will be the best Christmas ever at the O.K. Corral! ALL STUDENTS SIGNAL THREE (UP) SONG: "Christmas is O.K.!” SPEAKERS STAY ON STAGE IN SPOTS and dance and sing. THE END
