  3. ITS Report Card -2 • Helpful • Help Desk-Extended Hours • FWP -great equipment; need more support • Advice on new building technologies • Broadband Overview web page • Smart Rooms, especially 53-215 • Degree audit system • ITS staff involved with CMS College of Science and Mathematics

College Requirements 2001-02 • Help interfacing data acquisition equipment • More loaner FWP machines • Staff Workstations comparable with FWP • Flexible disk space allocations for email, web pages, files • Keep modem access until DSL/Cable modems are lower priced • One hour long workshops; fewer in fall qtr College of Science and Mathematics

Special Initiatives • Easier file sharing between faculty and students • Student access to applications without downloading large files • Need FWP-like program for student lab refresh • Web page with list of activities, supporting applications, and training on use • Choice between assigned time or summer funding for faculty development • More Smart Rooms (top priority) College of Science and Mathematics
