Hispanic Culture. By Xavier, Chidinma, and Kyle Ms. King’s Language Arts Class 12-12-12. Religion. One main Hispanic religion is Roman Catholic. Not all Hispanics are Roman Catholic. They attend mass on Sundays. Mass is like an Americans church. They worship the virgin Mary.

  2. Religion • One main Hispanic religion is Roman Catholic. • Not all Hispanics are Roman Catholic. • They attend mass on Sundays. • Mass is like an Americans church. They worship the virgin Mary.

  3. Food Hispanics eat foods like tacos or burritos. They like hot foods like jalepenos, guacamole, or any other kind of peppers. They like spices and hot chips. They like beans and rice also.

  4. Holidays Celebrated They celebrate Cinco De Mayo, Día de la Constitucion (Constitution Day), and Flag day. They also celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month starts on September 15 and ends on October 15.

  5. Music Hispanics listen to many kinds of music. Here are some genres they listen to: Salsa Latin Pop Tejano Rock en Española Tropical

  6. Dress Style • The women wear big puffy dress to party's. • The women clothing resembled a dress with short sleeves. • They also wear serapes, which were blanket-like capes.

  7. Sports • There are many sports in Mexico that Hispanics play. Here are some of the sports they play: • Soccer • Boxing • Baseball • Tennis • Golf

  8. Language • Spanish is mostly what Hispanics speak. • Latino is another language.

  9. Education • In Mexico, they teach the kids English. English is one main subject. • They learn English so if they come to America, they know how to speak.

  10. Population There are over 113 million Hispanics in the world. There are more coming every day.
