New Basic Protection Plan (BPP) Replacement Overview and Plan Choices

We are transitioning to new Unum plans to replace the current Basic Protection Plan (BPP). The new options include Plan 1: Lay LTD and Life, Plan 2: Clergy Supplemental Life, and Plan 3: Optional Life Insurance. The plan coverage will be sponsored by the plan sponsors, with different eligibility criteria for lay employees, clergy, and their dependents. These fully-insured plans by Unum will maintain existing DBP and DBP Plus benefits. Review enrollment criteria and unique eligibility situations to ensure selected options are appropriate for your needs.
