  1. Week of: November 4-8 Highlights of the Week Important Dates *Language Arts* I can find Letters Gg and Ii, make the sounds, and write the letters correctly. I can use my thinking to understand what I read. *Math* I can make sets of 3,4 and 5 and take those sets apart. *Social Studies* I can tell the difference between needs and wants. *Science* I can tell about things that give off heat and energy. November 5—Picture Makeup Day. (If your child needs to retake their picture, please return the pictures with a note attached requesting a retake.) November 8—Tip Your Hat to Veterans Day—Bring a dollar and wear a hat to school. The dollars will buy Walmart gift cards for Veterans. November 11—Veterans Day Program at 8:30 in the cafeteria; reception for Veterans and their families afterward in the Library. Join us to honor our Veterans!
