Open Issues (1)to report on in June 2003 • Affiliates from Industry • Agreed: • PRAGMA is an academic based organization • Many advantages for involvement of industry • We want industrial affiliates involvement • Will formulate more careful guidelines • Relationships with other Organizations: • APAN, GGF, ApGrid, APECTel, … • Will formulate and propose relationship

  5. Expected Outcomes • Advance scientific applications • Increase interoperability of grid middleware • Contribute to the development of international grid efforts • Increase productive and effective use of the grid by researchers and scientists in the PacificRim • Increase collaboration on the grid in the Pacific Rim • Increase grid activities within member countries, throughout PRAGMA and the world • Provide core resources and model testbeds for regional e-science projects

  6. Open Issue (2)to report on in June 2003 • Establish milestones for PRAGMA • Use Expected Outcomes as an outline • Using key meetings as marker • Use these to set goals for PRAGMA meetings
