  2. Objectives • Promote integration of research and start up research programs by means of exchange of researchers and PhD students • Access of students and researchers to know-how, infrastructure and equipment of partners • Establish long-lasting personal contacts/relations

Final Comments • Effective way to stimulate integration • effective instrument for joint research, joint experiments, joint papers • productive for both involved parties • many e1 exchanges have led to other exchanges • focus on content, light-weight administrative procedure • Numbers: • 53 exchanges took place • Most partners (+ coll. inst.) involved in one or more exchanges
