Haylee Cain, Melissa Lopez, and Rebecca Zachry advocate for the elimination of barriers to gay immigration in the U.S. They believe that individuals should be free to pursue happiness and live openly as LGBTQ+ individuals. Citing religious support for LGBTQ+ rights, they argue against the deportation of gay immigrants and emphasize the importance of keeping families together. Their proposal aims to legalize same-sex marriage across all states and engage President Obama to address LGBTQ+ immigration issues, ensuring safety and acceptance for all.

Gay Immigration Haylee Cain, Melissa Lopez, and Rebecca Zachry.
We have come to the conclusion that Gay Immigration should be eliminated from the United States of America. In our opinion we think that this should not be happening because people come to the United States because it’s the dream land. People come here to be free and have a better life. Being Gay in their country is probably already hard enough for them, not being able to come live in a better land makes it harder. People deserve to be happy; it’s not going to hurt anyone.
We know that some people in the United States don’t like gay immigrants or gay people in general, because it can be against their religion. But we say that people can be gay and Christian at the same time. “You are a wonderful part of God's Creative Plan. You are NOT a freak of nature. You are not an accident. God loves you,” Is found in the bible and supports gays. “And according to Jesus, God intends some of His children to be born gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, “. As you can see God supports Gay people as should we.
. • Being gay or being an illegal immigrant does not mean that anyone has the right to be deported. “A lot of people meet people who aren’t Americans and fall in love with them but they can’t live with them.” Why should families be separated? Why should people have to leave the dream land and go back to a place where they might be killed for being gay? Immigration is a harsh way to express what you believe in.
Proposal We want it to be legal for gay men and lesbian girls to marry in any state of 50 states of The United States of America.
We plan to achieve this goal by contacting President Barrack Obama through email asking him to address this issue.
