  3. Migration achievements • All OECD and non OECD historical data have been transferred to the SQL database • Two additional fields are now available for quantities : weight and supplementary quantity units • Re-import and re-export are now standard fields in the database

WBC improvements • In 2007 OECD and UNSD databases have been fully synchronized ; this process will continue for non-OECD countries • From 2000 to 2004, the data harmonization of OECD countries will be completed • The entire historical series have been converted into ISIC rev 3 • Quantities are being reviewed commodity by commodity

  8. Timeliness • This year, timeliness was very similar to 2004 and 2005 data collection • The target reception date of June was met by 22 OECD countries for the reference year 2006

  9. Next steps • Complete the harmonization between UNSD and OECD data for OECD countries from 2000 to 2004 • Ensure continuous database synchronization • Carry out an impact study on quantity estimations • Establish a new set of governance rules between OECD and UNSD
