  2. Who Is Wong Kim Ark ? • - Wong Kim ark was born in 1873 • - He was a son from a Immigrational Chinese Family • - He was the person that gave freedom to immigration parents that had children born inside the United States

  3. What Did he Do ? • - Wong Kim Ark created a rule of Natural Born "Citizen" • - This rule means that any person born on soil of the United States obtain automatic citizenship. • -Wong Kim Ark enforced this law so that immigrant children across the United States Of America could have a "Dream"

  4. What happened? • - Immigration services did not allow him to return back to the United States after coming back from China from visiting his parents • - Had to go to court / explain • - Chinese Exclusion Act

  5. How did it help immigration parents and children ? • - It created a chance for immigration children to earn opportunities of education,work,etc. • - On Slide 3

  6. How did he take "Act" of the Immigration Debate ? • - He explained how being born of illegal parents did not affect his automatic citizenship because inside of wherever you were born was called naturalization • - Court emphasized the act and later on created the 14th amendment

  7. Does his action still live today in the present ? - Yes it does because nowadays the rules have changed and if your parents are illegal immigrants and you were born in the United States you are now an automatic citizen or obtained your Citizenship !
