In this devotional, we explore Psalm 50, focusing on God's desire for Zion's prosperity and the righteous sacrifices we offer. The Gospel passage from Luke 4:38-41 recounts Jesus healing Simon's mother-in-law and numerous others, demonstrating His divine authority and compassion. Through prayer and reflection, we are reminded of the importance of trusting God and allowing Him to reign fully in our hearts, just as St. Anastasia exemplified. Join us in uplifting hymns, discussions, and prayer as we foster a closer connection with God.

Psalm 50 • In Your good pleasure make Zion prosper; • build up the walls of Jerusalem. • Then there will be righteous sacrifices, • whole burnt offerings to delight You; • then bullswill be offered on Your altar. Alleluia.
Holy, Holy, Holy. A passage from the Gospel according to Saint Luke (4:38-41), may his blessings be upon us all. Amen.
Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So He bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them. When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them. Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, ‘‘You are the Son of God!'' But He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew • . • He was the Christ

St. Anastasia How God desires to reign compeletlyover our hearts
St. Anastasia How can you see that in St. Anastasia? She didn’t care about the emperor and she didn’t care about her position. She stood for her love for Christ (God reigned over her heart ) she loved Him more than anything else. She got this through prayer, her connection with God as she became one with Him she couldn’t imagine herself to be for somebody else other than Christ like the last saint we learned about (do you remember her name?) Heart consumed with herself became fully taken over by God
