  2. :: quiz • Please put away your books and get ready for today’s quiz. • Quizes will be used as part of your class participation grade • I will keep track of all quiz results throughout the semester • The winning team will get a prize at the end of the semester. • The losing team will get an extra assignment.

  3. :: today’s agenda • Today is a working day • If needed, I will provide a more detailed review of how to use Power Point more effectively. • One-on-One meetings: • I will walk around and check in with everyone to provide feedback and answer questions.

  4. :: homework due :: 02.13.06 • Client Pitch Document • Create a client pitch document in Power Point. Design the look and feel and create all of the content to be included in the pitch. This is a hypothetical document that you would bring to a hypothetical client meeting to win the business of redesigning their web site. Be prepared to present it during an in-class critique. Use Power Points notes functionality to prepare what you are going to say during the presentation. The presentation should be less than 10 minutes (5-7 minutes is ideal). • Include the following: • Primary Goals/Objectives of the redesign • A summary of what is currently wrong with their present site • include results from the Forrester Test • include site interaction examples of their target users coming to the site • A list of new features that will play a major role in the redesign • Optional: Include any new technology that will play a major role in the redesign • A visual diagram of the design process of how the site will get redesigned (5 step design process) • A list of documents that you will prepare for the client (a list of items that you will create over the next few weeks, which you will be putting together for your your mid-term project) • Documents will include: Creative Brief, User Scenarios, Usability Checklist, Survey & Interview results, Project Schedule, Site maps, Page maps, Focus Group report, Feature & Technical Spec documents, Content Document, User flow charts, and a Style Guide • Format: Microsoft Power Point Document
