  1. 1st Annual It’s Chilly OutScrum Team Chili Cook Off

  2. User Story • As a hungry person I need a warm bowl of chili so that I can warm up on a cold January day. AC: • Must use Turkey (2lbs min) • Must be Gluten Free • (Wheat, Rye, Oat Barley, Soy Sauce) • (See Rob or Jeff if you have questions about ingredients) • Must be Nut Free • Must be Yummy!

  3. The Rules Friday Jan, 27 • All food prep done at home • chopping, pre-cooking ingredients, etc.. • Each team member must contribute at least 1 ingredient. • Assembly and final cooking to be done here. • Crock pots must arrive empty • Chili may not be pre-assembled at home. • Teams: • Team 1: VeriTime • Team 2: Core Edu + Enterprise • Team 3: Prisma 1 • Team 4: Prisma 2 • Team 5: Management

  4. Prisma Team divide 2min • You must self organize and divide into 2 team • Team of 4 • Team of 3 • Balance between QA and Dev • Balance between FTW and Contractor • GO!

  5. Chili Master • As a team you must select 1 person to be the “Chili Master” • The Chili Master’s role is to help organize and guide the team to chili excellence. • Manage the backlog of tasks to do • Work with the team to pull it all together. • Clear impediments and facilitate planning meetings.

  6. Judges As a team you must select your own Judge • Your Judge must be here on Jan 27th. • Your Judge must NOT be a member of you FT scrum team. (or Colleen) • You Judge is your Customer, find out what they like in a chili. You have 10min to recruit your judge and bring them back here… GO!

  7. Chili Theme… As a team you must commit to a chili release theme now and present it back to this group. • Your theme must match your chili at judging. • You customer should have input into your chili • You will want need a good score from them! You have 10 minutes to collect information from your customer and commit to a chili theme. GO!

  8. Planning • It will be up to your Chili Master to help create a list of backlog tasks to be completed. • The team is responsible for pulling tasks and completing them. • Items can be added to your backlog at any time. • Each team will receive $20 for supplies.

  9. Cooking Day • Cooking starts at 8:30am sharp. • Each team will have 30 minutes to assemble season and tweak your chili. • After 30 minutes – HANDS OFF! • It is what it is.. Judging: • Starts at High Noon! • Each judge will receive a sample from each team. • Two Criteria • Matches Theme (1-5) 50% • Overall Taste Rank (1-5) 50% • Highest Overall Score Wins • Colleen is the tie breaker

  10. Prizes • The winning chili will get a team lunch on Frontline. • Bragging Rights
