Isak Borenstein • Changed his last name to a polish sounding one • Was taken by the Nazis because he looked Jewish • He was at Auschwitz then to Schier-Redr-Zipf to Linz 3 • Was able to survive by living at camps until the American Army came in • Silent by not being able to leave the concentration camps until he was rescued.

  3. Michael Hingson and Roselle • Was on the 78th floor of a twin tower. • Hingson was blind and Roselle took control. • Survived 9/11 by going down the fire escape. • The dog led the way • She was calm while everyone was scared. • Silent because he couldn’t see and needed help

  4. How They are Similar • Both were clever and brave. • Isak was because he was able to out smart the Nazis by changing his last name • Michael Hingson and Roselle were because they were able to lead many people out of the building.
