  2. SUMMARY This book is about jelly fish and how they survive in their environment. The book describes everything from how they move to what they eat . It also talks about how to stay safe and not to get around them. It told me about different types of t jelly fish, such as: he man of war and the sea wasp.

  3. What I learned I learned that jellyfish are invertebrates. This means that they don’t have a back bone. I also learned that jellyfish do not eat their prey, The jellyfish swallow their prey whole and then spit it back out in to the ocean. These animals do not live very long. Most even complete their life cycle in one year. They are the most active during the warmest seasons.

  4. Recommendation I recommend this book to 4th and 5thgraders. This book also might be good for some 3rdgraders with high reading levels. I picked this book because I did not know very much about these creatures and I wanted to learn more. This book tells you a lot of information about jellyfish. I never realized their were so many kinds of jellyfish and so many shapes and sizes. This book is also good because it tells you everywhere they live and that they are related to corals and sea anemones.

  5. How could I apply this knowledge?I now know which jellyfish are the most dangerous. I learned to stay away from the box jellyfish because it has tentacles that can wrap around a human’s body. The book taught me to use vinegar if someone gets stung and then take them to the hospital. I also learned what the warning signs look like on beaches.
