  2. We all know about the various ?u??er of ?ig data’s Vs: velo?ity, vera?ity, variety and volume. These Vs are the ways of characterizing big data, whereas all Cs are the ways of enabling new applications of big data. Well, in this article, we are going to cover up the three Cs of big data applications: Currency, Coverage and Cost. Let’s have a dis?ussion on them:

  3. Currency Currency This application can get all information it needs in time for reacting. However, it depends enough on the nature of the domain of the application. Microseconds can make a distinction for algorithmic trading and for traders for co-locating servers, electronic exchanges make money renting out space on site. Well, getting information within 5 or 10 minutes might be early enough for other applications.

  4. Coverage Coverage The set of information is ample in type, space and time for reasonable functionality of application. An application is not likely for being successful whether there are serious gaps in the input it requires for producing good outcomes. Organizations have begun providing different types of walkability index for household properties. An index of this type rates areas as to how simply one can fulfill the requirements of daily life on foot. These applications now are emerging due to the input para?eters’ enough coverage for the index. For several cities, almost total info is available on transit routes, tax lots and road networks. And there is more or less total information available on destinations: schools, dining and stores. Various walkability indices are seen sometimes from a standpoint of ?overage: they do?’t have e?ough information on the existence of crossings and sidewalks.

  5. Cost Cost Projected savings or revenue should cover the expected investments for analysis, storage and collection of info for the application. Therefore, a new application might be begun due to cost of computation, storage or sensors have dropped enough for making it economical. So, is there any other C which enables the appli?atio?s of ?ig data? We do?’t have a fine example but of where information becoming more relevant, or a new way of linking info, has been the primary enabler of an application. So, what do you think about it? Big data is a vast thing to explore and so it’s Cs. Join a big data training institute for exploring the big data courses to acquire more knowledge about it.
