  2. ELiTES What is the ELiTES ? Grant for collaboration between KAGRA and ET (Mar. 2012 - Feb. 2016) European people can visit Japan for KAGRA. However, we discussing visitors from Japan to Europe. Candidates (young reserachers) are discussed, but I do not mention their name here.

  3. First ‘quasi’ ELiTES face to face meeting 14 May 2012(Hawaii, GWADW2012)

  4. ELiTES Research topics in Europe Jena (Ronny Nawrodt) Mechanical (Q) and optical (refractive index) properties at cryogenic temperature Sapphire fibers (thermal conductivity vs surface treatment) Manufacturing ribbon and so on ? (I am not so sure ... ) Clamp and pendulum Q

  5. ELiTES Research topics in Europe Jena (Ronny Nawrodt) Not so long stay (a few months) This stay should be a trigger of research. European (Japanese) reserachers learn something in Japan (Europe) and contine thier research in Europe (Japan).

  13. IMPEX sapphire fiber Sapphire fibers to suspend sapphire mirrors Sapphire fibers from MolTech GmbH (Germany)

  14. IMPEX sapphire fiber Ettore Majorana asked IMPEX (German company). They can made similar fibers (head on the both end). Shoter fibers (about 100 mm) for test are not so expensive.
