Hall Clearance • Crane upgraded • lighting maintenance done • Hall partly stripped out • disposal of old power supplies (keep for CMS) • preserving magnets • … on schedule – expect to complete end of October • No problems encountered • CMS disturbance minimal – still in place • discussed inevitability of moving (with BB)

RF Power Sources • Identified some £900k+ savings on equipment! • CERN • 2 power amps (I expect CERN to refurbish & test) • LBNL • 2 power amps (need to be cleaned, modified & tested) • This can be done at/by RAL – risk of incurring disposal cost • 3 driver amplifiers (need to be cleaned & tested) • Los Alamos • 2 HV power supplies (loan – ~new) • 4 driver amplifiers (working – timescale not known) • Total RF cost is estimated @ 1.8M+ after savings
