Essential Safety Guidelines for Science Lab Work

In the science lab, your safety is the top priority. Always wear safety goggles when handling chemicals to protect your eyes. Aim test tubes away from you and others when heating, and never reach across a flame. If chemicals contact your skin or clothes, notify your teacher immediately. Use proper techniques for smelling chemicals, keep your work area clean, and always clean equipment before storing it. Follow all instructions closely and ask for help if needed. Remember to wash your hands after experiments for your safety.
