  1. How To Make a Pillow Cover Envelope Style Ms. Hooker

  2. Step #1 • For the front of the pillow, measure the size of your pillow and add 1” to it.

  3. Step #2 • For the back of the pillow cover, add 4” to the width only.

  4. Step #3 • Now cut the back panel in half.

  5. Step #4 • Take the center edges of the back panel and turn under ¼”. • Press in place and stitch close to the edge.

  6. Step #5 • Overlap center edges and lay right sides together over the front of the pillow cover. • Make sure outer edges line up.

  7. Step #6 • Sew all the way around the outer edge at ½” or 5/8” seam allowance.

  8. Step #7 • Turn right side out and poke out your corners • And press with an iron.

  9. Step #8 • Fill with a pillow form – one you buy or make.

  10. Step #9 • Enjoy! • Congratulations!! You just made yourself a pillow cover!
