INPI-WIPO Agreement for South-South Cooperation Project title: Increasing and Improving the use of the IP system in the developing countries 4 years: 2012-2016 Objectives: 1) Collaboration to build public policies and strategies for innovation; 2) Collaboration for the design of institutional policies on the management of IP and Technology Transfer in academic institutions, Support agencies for the industry (in what it relates to the regulation of ownership, benefit sharing, conflict of interest, etc) ; 3) Collaboration for the capacity building of IP and Innovation professionals

INPI-WIPO Agreement for South-South Cooperation Main Activities for cooperation with IP Offices: II Inter-Regional Forum for Heads of Industrial Property Offices of South America and Arab Countries: a South South collaborative agenda on IP and Innovation Public Policies, Institutional Policies, Business Strategies, and Capacity Building. Participants: WIPO, League of Arab Countries, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Paraguay, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, Uruguay and Yemen.

INPI-WIPO Agreement for South-South Cooperation Main Activities for cooperation with Latin American IP Offices: Workshop on Patent Examination and Administration with 17 LA Countries Workshop on Technology Transfer and IP Commercialization: one edition in Montevideu, Uruguay for Mercosur countries and a second one in Lima, Peru, following this Seminar Workshop on the use of Technological Information as a development strategic tool for 15 LA Countries Workshop on the Analysis of Patent as a Source of Information for Innovation Strategies

INPI-WIPO Agreement for South-South Cooperation Main Activities for cooperation with Latin American IP Offices: Workshop on Methodologies of Analysis of Patent Database (Patent Analytic) Advanced Training Program on STL (Succssessful Technology Licensing) PROSUR meetings: structuring of a collaborative platform for search and technical exam PROSUR consultancy study on its Institutional model
