VARIATIONS TO THE TRIPLE • CRESE: OUR OUTSIDE VEER PLAY • PRIMARILY RUN AT A “0” NOSE DEFENSIVE FRONT (5-2, 5-3,3-4,3-3 REDUCED 4-3) • READS STAY THE SAME • QB / FB MESH ONE HOLE WIDER • QB HAS TO GET BALL OUT TO THE FB (SPLIT BACK VEER LIKE!) • FB STAY ON PATH HUG DOUBLE TEAM AS ALWAYS • BLOCKING SCHEME • DOUBLE POINT OF ATTACK!!! • CAN VARY IF O-LINE IS VERY GOOD • CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE ADDITION OF MID-LINE!!!!
