Band Class Grouping Objectives and Procedures for Effective Collaboration

This document outlines the goals and objectives for working in small groups during band class this year. Students are divided into specific groups based on their instrument types for focused practice sessions. The plan includes warm-up exercises, designated group areas for music practice, and the use of SmartMusic with the SMARTboard for interactive learning. Clear expectations are set for teamwork, individual practice time, and the completion of a rubric to evaluate participation. Students are encouraged to collaborate effectively and stay focused during practice.
