  3. Primary Learning Objectives • 1. Describe the characteristics of game and non-game species. • 2. Describe the different classes of wildlife. • 3. Identify common species of fish and wildlife in Alabama.

  4. Scenario • You are new to the world of hunting and part of being a safe and ethical hunter is knowing which wildlife species are game species and which species are considered non-game. Not only is it important to now the species but you must also be able to recognize the species in the field while you are hunting.

  5. Task • Using the World Wide Web search and define the different Native Alabama Game Species of Wildlife. • Create a power-point presentation depicting each species and legalities that go along with hunting the species. • Be sure to include Wildlife Characteristics: • Tracks • Colors • Sounds • Habitat
