  3. Traditional Music There are a several types of Japanese traditional music; ががく: Ancient court music from China and Korea. It is the oldest type of Japanese, traditional music. びわがく: Music played with the Biwa, a kind of guitar with four strings. のほがく: Music played during Noh performances. It basically consists of a chorus, the Hayashi flute, the Tsuzumi drum, and other instruments. そきょく: Music played with the Koto, a type of zither with 13 strings. Later also accompanied by Shamisen and Shakuhachi. しぁくはち: Music played with the Shakuhachi, a bamboo flute that is about 55 cm long. The name of the flute is its length expressed in shaku an old Japanese unit of length. しぁみせのんがく: Music played with the Shamisen, a kind of guitar with only three strings. Kabuki and Bunraku performances are accompanied by the shamisen. みんよ: Japanese folk songs.

New age New age is music of various styles, which is intended to create inspiration, relaxation, and positive feelings, often used by listeners for yoga, massage, inspiration, relaxation, meditation and reading as a method of stress management or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home or other environments often associated with environmentalism and New Age spirituality. The most famous New Age music artists are Japanese. Yuki Guramoto(ゆき ぐらもと)is called the father of new age music in the world. Also Hisaishi(ひさいし)Joe and RyuischiSakamoto are the famous artist, too the reason why Japanese' new age music are popular is because the music is introduced through Japanese animation suitably

  7. J-Pop J- Pop means ‘Japanese pop’ but is also a loosely defined musical genre that entered the musical mainstream of Japan in the 1990s. The Japanese music industry is the second largest country in the world. The Most j-pop singers are organized by in a group. The largest group of j-pop singer is 108 members in a group. It was coined by the Japanese media to distinguish Japanese music from foreign music and now refers to most of Japanese popular music.

  11. Johnnys &association Johnny&Associates (ジャニーズ事務所, janīzu jimusho), a well-known boys idol entertainment company in Japan, was established in 1963 by Johnny Kitagawa. It accepts and trains talented boys and promotes their debuts to the entertainment industry. Starting with group name "Johnnys" in 1962, Johnny&Associates has debuted over twenty groups so far. The most famous groups of today include SMAP(debuted in 1991), TOKIO(1994), V6(1996), Kinki Kids(1997), Arashi(1999), Tackey and Tsubasa(2001), NewS(2003), Kanjani∞(2005), KAT-TUN(2006), and Hey! Say! JUMP(2007).
