Fact Or Fiction Middle School is TOO early to be thinking about high school courses! FICTION Your three years in middle school will pass very quickly. Then you'll face a new adventure in education— high school! Take some time now to think about the courses you may want to take then.
Fact Or Fiction The grades you make in middle school have nothing to do with what you do in high school FICTION When you sign up for your high school courses, your middle school grades are one indicator of how well prepared you are to start high school. Make the most of your time in middle school to ensure that you have options when you schedule your high school courses.

FICTION Research institutes of higher learning that interest you and make sure that you are on track to meeting all of the admissions requirements.
Fact Or Fiction If you don’t think that you are going to college when you start high school, then you shouldn’t bother taking college preparatory classes. FICTION If you are unsure of what you want to do after high school, take the college preparatory track. This will keep college as a viable option for you. It is better to have more than enough requirements than to not have enough.

Take advantage of the partnerships that many schools have with local colleges and universities. Many schools give you the opportunity to take college courses for college credit while still in high school.
Fact Or Fiction It is good to take math each year in high school FACT Take a math course every year, even if you have satisfied all of your math requirements. It is critical that you take a math during your senior year. Math is a subject that you “lose” if you don’t “use”.
Fact Or Fiction There are many classes that may be related to my interests that are offered at other schools in the system and are available to me! FACT Don’t be afraid to take courses at other schools if they are available to you. Spread your wings.
Fact Or Fiction Extra-curricular activities are as important as the classes that I take. FACT Participate in extra curricular activities that are in line with your goals and interests. And take leadership roles in your extra curricular activities.
