Bilbao High Week is a famous festival in Bilbao. It’s in August and people come from all over the world. It lasts a week of activities, competitions and concerts.
THE CHUPINAZO:The chupinazo is a big firework. Rrepresents that the feast starts. People always is present when the big firework begins to take off.
MARIJAIA: Is a big and famous character from the Basque Country, she’s known all around Bizkaia. In the ‘chupinazo’ afternoon this big character goes along the streets, and people take photos. When the feast finishes they burn it.
CONCERTS:There are some concerts , they use to be very exciting and people of all the city go to listen to them. This year has been the group of teenagers ‘Auryn’, they have had a great success.
