Connecting members • Inspired by the successful approach of networking N^2 Women (networking networking women) initiative (http://www.comsoc.org/N2Women/), we are creating a new mailing list • Current effort: • Drew up a list of women active in the Information Theory Society: withits@mit.edu(Women in the Information Theory Society) • Currently collecting members of the list by suggestion of current members • When the list has attained critical mass, will work on a page of the IT Society web site with links to members’ web sites
