CONCEPT FEASIBILITY • PROTOTYPE TECHNICALLY FEASIBLE • PROTOTYPE WILL PROVIDE: • EMBRYONIC IMMEDIATE CAPABILITY • THE BASIS FOR EVALUATING BENEFITS • THE BASIS FOR SPECIFYING THE PROCUREMENT OF AN OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY • THE LACK OF AN EXISTING NATO DEDICATED NETWORK IS NOT AN IMPEDIMENT FOR THE PROTOTYPE

CONCEPT FEASIBILITY (cont.) • PROTOTYPE MANAGEMENT RESIDENT AT SACLANT • THE WEB MASTER AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED BY VNC • INITIALLY PROTOTYPE WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET THROUGH A PASSWORD-PROTECTED FIREWALL . ACCESS REQUIREMENTS AND POLICIES WILL BE CONSISTENT WITH NATO REGULATIONS.

  14. CONCEPT FEASIBILITY (cont.) • THE SITE WILL BE COMPOSED OF MINIMAL HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE. • THE PROTOTYPE WILL BE POPULATED BY A LIMITED NUMBER OF COURSES COMPLIANT WITH MILITARY COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED PRIORITIES.
