Background • The plane crashed in San Francisco. • Boeing 777-200ER • From South Korea to San Francisco • 307 people total aboard the plane. 2 dead at the crash scene a, 3rd in the hospital days later, 181 injured, 12 critically. • First crash of a Boeing 777 that resulted in fatalities since its service entry in 1995.
