  1. Welcome to the USA The project is made by Victor Likhachev and IlyaMezhibovsky, the students of School 83, Seversk, Tomsk Region

  2. The Coast of the Atlantic Ocean • This part of the country is the most populated, as lots of the cities of the world importance are situated here: Washington, New York, Boston, Chicago, etc.

  3. The Central Part The central part of the USA is very important for the country’s life.

  4. Such rivers as the Mississippi, the Ohio and the Missouri run here.

  5. The Great Lakes • The Michigan, the Huron, the Erie, the Ontario and Superior Lake are also attractive for tourists. They are so huge that the territory they cover is of the same size as some European countries.

  6. The Coast of the Pacific Ocean • People have been living in this part of the USA for only about 150 years and they’ve made much progress in developing this area and building new cities.

  7. Four presidents of the USA Mount Rushmore National Memorial, South Dakota, represents the first 150 years of the history of the USA with 60-foot (18 m) sculptures of the heads of former US presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.

  8. Alaska • Alaska is the largest state of the USA located west of Canada. It has the highest mountain McKinley, the most extensive wilderness, the most lakes and wetlands of any state. Butit has the lowest population density.

  9. Washington • Washington is the capital of the USA. It’s very calm, neat and beautiful. It attracts tourists with its magnificent memorials, monuments and museums.

  11. New York City is called the Capital of the World. The Statue of Liberty, Times Square, the Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building are really worth seeing!

  12. The Statue of Liberty It is the most famous building in New Yorkwhich is situated on Liberty Island. It has become not only a symbol of friendship between the USA and France during the American revolution but also a symbol of the USA. It was put on 28 October, 1885.

  13. San Francisco The Golden Gate Bridge was built in 1937. It’s 1,281 meters long.

  15. Las Vegas is the largest city in the state of Nevada and an internationally known resort, shopping, and entertainment centre. It was established in 1905 and officially became a city in 1911.

  16. Miami • Miami is a major city in southeastern Florida. Miami and its surrounding cities make up the fifth largest urban area in the United States. Besides, it is one of the most famous pleasure resort.

  18. Los-Angeles is well-known for its Music and Film Industry • Rock’n’roll, R and B, rap, pop music, etc. as well as films are really famous around the world.
