Results • Classmate participation was excellent with a good number of individuals chipping in to provide delicious food, drinks, coolers/ice, decorations, effort and positive attitudes to make this event a great success. It was a blast!!! • A good number of Wheatley Class of ’65 classmates and other alumni supported the event. A hearty THANKS to everyone who showed that “Ole Wheatley Spirit”. • Also a good number of other guests, who were not Wildcats supported the event. Thanks to them as well. • The Art Raffle drawing took place. Our classmate, Debra Osborne McQueen, sold the winning ticket. • We raffled two gift baskets with Robert Young, Class of ’65, winning one and Howard Smith, Class of ’66, winning the other one. • Financially, we had our highest total receipts to date - • We sold $1,000.00 of Sock Hop Admission Tickets. • We collected another $445.00 from the Art Raffle. • We made $137.00 on the Basket Raffle. • We Collected $480.00 in Souvenir Book Ad sales. • Classmates paid $175.00 in reunion fees. • We collected $100.00 from Cheryl Pradia for Art Raffle Ticket Sales for reunion decorations. • You be the judge of the Sock Hop’s success as you view the pictures in this show.
