  1. Tonight on the titanicby: Mary Pope Osborne

  2. Characters • Jack • Annie • William • Lucy

  3. Setting • The Titanic sank on: April 14, 1912 • Where: on the Atlantic Ocean going to New York City from England

  4. Plot • Jack and Annie traveled to the Titanic on the magic tree house. They meet Teddy the dog who is under a spell. Jack and Annie know the boat is going to sink and that they have to help everyone. • The boat is starting to sink. Some people are playing cards and laughing and think it will take all night and day for the boat to sink and some people are panicking! Women and children start getting on lifeboats. Jack and Annie try to tell William and Lucy the boat is really sinking, try to help Teddy get off of spell, and try to get the men to stop playing cards! • William and Lucy get on a boat. The Titanic tips into the Ocean so Jack and Annie get back in the magic tree house. The tree house takes them home and Teddy disappears.

  5. Opinion I think this book was written well because I wanted to see what was going to happen. I liked this book’s characters because they were brave and they helped people. I like magic tree house books because Jack and Annie do cool things without knowing what is going to happen, like Jack falling down the ramp in Tonight on the Titanic, and don’t get hurt.
