  2. What is Symbaloo? ‘Symbaloo’ is a Greek verb that stands for ‘assembling’. This carries and reflects the place this application holds in the Web2.0. It is basically a personal online desktop, which helps users in managing favorite sites and services. Frequent web users have very large number of links saved in the browser’s, bookmarks in folders, etc. By using this simple start page ‘Symbaloo’, one can smoothly handle the links of these frequently visited websites.   4. Webmix VS. Tile What is a Webmix? A webmix is a tabbed resource that contains stored links, videos, and resources. What is a Tile? A tile is one resource in a webmix. You can create your own tiles and webmixes and search for created webmixes on a particular topic.

  6. Adding a Webmix • To add a Webmix, select Add a Webmix at the top of the screen. • To change a Webmix , you have the option to Edit, Rename, Change Wallpaper, or Delete. Picture is a screenshot from www.symbaloo.com

Adding a Tile • To add a Tile, click on an empty tile. • When the drop down box appears, search the name of a website into the search box. • Select the tile to drop it to your webmix • Your tiles can include Links, Newsfeeds, Search Modules, Radio, and Widgets.   8. Editing a Tile • If Symbaloo cannot find your premade Tile, you can create your own with choice of color and image. • To Copy, Move, Edit, or Delete your Tile, right click on the Tile you would like to Edit. Picture is a screenshot from www.symbaloo.com
