  2. Reading is Fun - The aim • to develop literacy, • to develop computer skills • to encourage children read books • opportunity for students with hearing and speaking disabilities with other students • to integrate Russian students into Estonian society Anu Ratasep 2004

  4. Reading is Fun (”Lugeda on mõnus”) • Students read interesting books (written by Estonian and foreign authors) • They discuss the books via Internet Anu Ratasep 2004

  5. Reading is Fun - various activities • 3 meetings are organized for the students in a year. • Meetings consist of various events such as competitions, quizes, short plays, meetings with writers or actors, cinema or theatre visits. Anu Ratasep 2004

  6. Reading is Fun - other activities • Students complete various tasks with computers like illustrating books, making PowerPoint presentations, or homepages. • For two yeas they have written a chain story that is later on publised. Anu Ratasep 2004
