  2. Shoulder Anatomy Shoulder is made up of three bones 1) Upper arm bone (humerus) 2) Shoulder blade (scapula) 3) Collar bone (clavicle).  • It is a ball-and-socket joint also known as glenoid. The head of humerus fits into a shallow socket in the shoulder blade. This joint allows the movement of the arm in different direction.
