Pengertian • SMS Gateway merupakan pintu gerbang bagi penyebaran Informasi dengan menggunakan SMS • Penghubungantaraduniakomunikasi (dalamhalini Mobile Phone denganfasilitas SMS) denganduniapengolahan data yaitukomputer. • Penyebaran pesan ke ratusan nomor secara otomatis dan cepat yang langsung terhubung dengan database nomor-nomor ponsel saja tanpa harus mengetik ratusan nomor dan pesan di ponsel anda karena semua nomor akan diambil secara otomatis dari database tersebut

  4. Cara Kerja SMS Gateway • 1. Client mengirim pesan sms misal : tag(spasi)nopelanggan kirim ke 08xxx • 2. Pesan melewati jalur jaringan selular • 3. Pesan client diterima oleh gateway SMS yang berupa GSM modem • 4. Pesan client akan diproses di sistem aplikasi. Didalam sistem inilah pesan client akan dihubungkan dengan database server. • 5. Di server database inilah semua pesan balasan sudah disiapkan. • 6. Program akan mengambil data didalam database server lalu mengirimkan pesan balasan otomatis kepada client melalui device gateway yaitu modem.
