  1. Title of Poster Goes Here in Mixed Case Format Calibri 66 pt Font J.A. Doe, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisor: S.M. Durbin Background Be sure to explain your motivation and the background to the project in terms a general technical audience can understand. Please use Calibri 36 pt font or similar for all text boxes. Other suggested sections include: Approach (or Methodology); Results; Discussion; Results and Discussion; Conclusions; or Summary. Other research team members along with any financial support should be included in an acknowledgments section at the bottom right-hand corner of the poster as shown in this example. Whether you use boxes as in this example is up to you, but please follow the template as closely as possible. References can be used but should be kept to a representative minimum. Approach In this section, you describe your approach. Figures may be used here (see Fig. 1) as well as in your results and discussion section. Please ensure technically literate people who don’t work in your area are able to follow at least the basics of what you did. Not all text boxes need headings, and you can continue sections into different boxes if you prefer. The governing equation for size to content ratio is poorly represented as: (b) (a) All figures should have a figure caption. (a) Figure numbers are optional. (b) Text should be Calibri 32 pt font. Equations should be sized appropriately. Equation numbers are optional. Conclusions Four lucky people will walk away from the poster competition with cash in hand. They will also benefit from other researchers at the College learning more about their work, and also gain visibility with local companies visiting CEAS during the competition. Results and Discussion This section builds on the Background and Approach sections. It may contain some details for a more specialized audience, but a reasonable attempt should be made to ensure it is largely accessible to a non-specialist (but still technically literate) audience. Acknowledgments Dr. P.A. Smith, Dr. J.E. Every, S.P. Member, P.S. Emery. Funding through NSF Grant EPE-1309 is gratefully acknowledged. NOTE: Leave a space after last line.
