  3. JIEM Conceptual Model • All justice information exchange can be described in five dimensions: • Process • Event • Agency • Conditions • Information • Documents • Data elements

  4. JIEM Conceptual Model • During the Investigation process, at the Incident event, if law enforcement seeks to establish the identify of subject, the Law Enforcement sends the Criminal History Query to the State Repository for the Initial Identification event in the Investigation process.

JIEM Site Database Builder • Set of programs to customize JRM to build a local site database • Local names supplied for agency, event, and document • Exchanges also filtered by function • JSDB reduces the time and effort needed to build the site database • JSDB increases the consistency of entries and quality of the data
