  4. “Nevertheless he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity but has power over his own will, and has so determined in his heart that he will keep his virgin, does well.” 1 Corinthians 7:37 “For I wish that all men (and women) were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am...” 1 Corinthians 7:7-8 “Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.” 1 Corinthians 7:1-2

For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.” 1 Corinthians 7:9 “...whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are “lovely”, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate (think) on these things.” Philippians 4:8 “Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish (bring self discipline) all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:5-6

  7. 1. Be in daily personal relationship with Jesus Christ 2. Talk to Jesus in prayer every day 3. Avoid alcohol or drugs if you want to be sexually free and pure 4. Keep inter-personal relationships healthy 5. Discipline your thought life 6. Keep your life full with productive activity SEXUAL FREEDOM

  8. 7. Be confident in your singleness 8. Fulfill your need for intimacy in non-sexual ways 9. Remember that you are not helpless with regards to your sexuality 10. Make yourself sexually accountable 11. Accept your single status as God’s will for this time in your life SEXUAL FREEDOM

  11. YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER YOUR OWN BODY… NOT SOMEONE ELSE!
