Summary of “Innovation” • Use virtual models early in the schematic design process • Use virtual models to better inform the decision-making models (e.g., Cost, Energy, Daylighting, Clash Detection) • Explicitly define goals, preferences and metrics at the start of the development process • Incorporate more stakeholders in decision making (e.g., neighbor focus groups) • Generate decision-making models to organize and structure the decision-making process (e.g., MACDADI, DD)
