  3. Why did countries change to the Euro?

  4. Under the subheading What is a Euro? Click on the link that shows the map of 2-euro coin countries. Describe the design for two of the countries’ coins: 1. 2. Notice that the designs showcase something that country is known for, perhaps a person, a symbol, or a natural resource.

  5. Design your own Euro. Imagine that Kentucky has chosen to adopt the Euro as part of our currency and design your own Kentucky Euro. You can use the Paint program on your computer or simply draw your design below. You must also give an explanation for your design.
