  15. How the story starts… I was sick – sick unto death with that long agony; and when they at length unbound me, and I was permitted to sit, I felt that my senses were leaving me. The sentence – the dread sentence of death – was the last distinct accentuation which reached my ears.

  16. It is impossible to say how the idea first entered my mind. But, I decided to slowly creep through the forest- with the dead body.Of course, the officers pass me by on the old pathway. Smiling politely, I welcomed the officers.

  17. You now have 3 minutes to begin creating the plot of the story, before you are asked to switch papers.How do you want to pull your reader into this gruesome ordeal?Which sentences/fragments/vocabulary are you embedding? I was sick – sick unto death with that long agony,…

  18. Pull me into your story, get me to feel the mood; get me to feel the characters’ emotions; also pull me into your setting…. Remember, you eerily have 3 minutes.
