  1. Survival: Could YoU BE A Baby Orca? By Fernando A.

  2. You are a baby orca, swimming through the Arctic Ocean. You want to survive, and you have to use your brain to help you make good choices. You have to eat, stay safe, and have some fun. Make your choices wisely so you stay alive. Eat a squid that is swimming by. Make friends with a polar bear. Swim toward the shore for a delicious sea bird.

  3. You decided to eat the squid swimming by. It was delicious, but you’re a growing baby whale, and it was only a small squid. You have to find something else to fill your belly. Choose now. Swim into a nearby fishing net for some fish. Go back toward the shore for a bird.

  4. You decided to go toward the beach for a bird. But you begin to feel like you are in danger. The water is becoming too shallow. You notice your belly is touching the rocks. But that sea bird by the shore looks delicious, and you are hungry. Choose carefully: Turn back and try to find another snack. Go get the bird on the sea shore.

  5. You decided to eat the silver fish in the net. There were so many of them and your belly is full. But now you can’t get out. You cry for your mom, but she can’t get to you. You can’t go to the top and get more air. Go back to the beginning and start again. Click to Begin Again Click to End

  6. You see something big and fluffy. It’s white and soft. You think that polar bear might make a good friend, and maybe he’ll share that seal he’s munching on. Too bad the polar bear just thinks you’re a good meal. Snap, snap! Now you’re in his belly. Go back to the beginning and try again. Click to Begin Again Click to End

  7. You can’t resist the delicious sea bird. You swim close to the shore to get him, but just as you get close, he flies away. Even worse, you realize you’re stuck. The water is too shallow, and you can’t turn around. You’re beached. Go back to the beginning and try again. Click to Begin Again Click to End

  8. You were hungry, but your mom helped you catch the sea lion, and now your belly feels full. Now you are ready to find some fun. You rise to the surface, and decide what to do next. Explore a fishing boat Swim toward the sea birds near the shore.

  9. You decide to swim near the fishing boat. It’s bigger than you, and that’s exciting. Then you notice a net nearby in the water, and it’s full of silver bony fish. Decide: Stay away from the boat and go back to your mom. Go look for a snack in the fishing net.

  10. You’ve had a busy day exploring. You’re happy as you snuggle up to your mom. You sleep, and dream about the next adventure you’ll take. Click to Begin Again Click to End

  11. The rocks tickled your belly and made you feel unsafe. You decided the bird didn’t look that delicious anyway. You turn around, and you’re glad you did because you didn’t want to get beached. Now, what do you do next? Go for a swim with your mom. Eat a squid that is swimming by.
