Objectives • To provide resources for effective coordination of all EINS activities and maintenance of contact with EC representatives. • To effectively monitor EINS, in administrative, technical and financial terms. • To guarantee the adherence of the work to the overall EINS plans, available resources and timing. • To undertake quality assessment of project progress, results and impact. • To achieve timely submission of progress reports and cost statements to the Commission. • To ensure that the Description of Work and the Consortium Agreement are maintained and updated where and when necessary.   3. Progress (M13-M24) • 1st Interim payment: it was received in EINS on the dedicated bank account (Nov 2013. It will be distributed to the partners after the finalisation of the Grand Agreement amendment, which involves reallocation of resources. It has been communicated to the PO. • A Grand Agreement amendment has been organised and is under process. • 1st Yearly Review organised in Brussels (12/4/2013) just after the yearly conference of EINS. All partners attended the meeting. • 2nd Yearly Review will be organised (4-5/2/2014) in Brussels. All WPs leaders and co-leaders are planning to attend the meeting. • Two Plenary Meetings were organised. • EINS 2nd Plenary meeting, Thessaloniki (17-18/1/2013) • EINS 3rd Plenary meeting, Munich (25-26/11/2013) • JRAs organised separate JRA meetings according to their needs as described within the activities of each JRA. In addition all JRAs are organising several teleconferences according to the needs of the specific JRA implementation. • Development and maintenance on a daily basis of several tools, which facilitate partners’ daily communication and support the management in its scheduling and reporting tasks. General Information • 2 Plenary Meetings • EINS 2nd Plenary meeting, Thessaloniki (17-18/1/2013) • EINS 3rd Plenary meeting, Munich (25-26/11/2013) • Regular teleconference of the Executive Board that is the driving force and the decision body of EINS • EAC meeting organized with the participation of Wellman, Clark and Thompson during the 3rd EINS plenary (25-26 November 2013, Munich). • Several Conference calls among all partners, and among subgroups. Administrative Management • Gathering and submission of the Financial Forms (covering period M13-M24) • Preparation and submission of the 2nd Periodic report (covering period M13-M24) • Preparation of the GA Amendment • Preparation of agenda, organisation and coordination of full group meetings. • Preparation of plenary meeting minutes. • Final review and submission of D1.3, D1.4, D1.7.1, D2.1.1, D2.2, D2.3, D2.4.1, D3.1.1, D3.3.1, D4.2, D4.4.1, D4.5.1, D5.1.2, D5.3.1, D6.1, D6.3.1, D6.4.1, D7.1.1, D7.2.1, D7.3.1, D8.2, D8.5.1, D9.2, D13.2, D13.3.2, D13.4.1, D14.2, D15.1.2, D16.4.1, D16.4.2 • Close follow-up of reports/activities/deliverables deadlines and responsible partners. • Organisation and coordination of the 2nd project review preparations. EINS Amendment – new partners • New partners • University of Sussex, SUSSEX, UK (1/5/2013) • Austrian Institute of Technology – AIT, Austria (1/11/2013) • TrentoRise, Italy (1/5/2013) as a 3rd party of CNR • 14 more partners joined the consortium from 1st November 2013 for the duration of a year (resulted from the EINS Open calls). EINS Amendment - Workplan JRA1: • JRA1 will be co-leaded by KaveSalamatian (computer scientist-UoS) and Tamas David-Barrett (economist and sociologist - OXF) • Former D1.4 (M24) has been replaced by D1.4.1 (M26) and D1.4.2 (M36) related to the organization plan and outcome of the Interdisciplinary Workshop on Decision Making JRA2: • JRA2 will be co-leaded by Clare Hooper (computer scientist-SOTON) and Jonathan Cave (economist-WARW) • JRA2 has been reorganized as a result of the new co-leadership and in order to engage more social aspects and outreach to more disciplines. JRA3: • JRA3 will be co-leaded by ThanasisTiropanis (computer scientist-SOTON) and Federico Morando (economist with studies on policy as well-NEXA) • JRA3 has been reorganized as a result of the new co-leadership and in order to engage more social aspects and outreach to more disciplines. JRA4: • JRA4 will be co-leaded by Chris Marsden (lawyer-SUSSEX) and Ziga Turk (computer scientist-LJU) • D4.4.2 submission date changed from M36 to M38 Project Management

EINS Amendment - Workplan JRA5: • JRA5 will be co-leaded by Anne-Marie Oostveen (social scientist-OXF) and Ian Brown (computer scientist-OXF)  JRA6: • D6.3.2 submission date changed from M36 to M38 JRA7: • JRA7 will be co-leaded by HeikoNiedermayer (computer scientist-TUM) and Marc Rouncefield (sociologist-ULANC) • D7.2.2 submission date changed from M36 to M40 to provide a more mature outcome  JRA8: • JRA8 will be co-leaded by Bart Lanno (computer scientist-iMinds) and Laura Sartori (sociologist-UNIBO) • Former tasks 8.3 and 8.4 have been merged to produce R8.3: “How to influence and to be influenced by the user behaviour”, resulting in D8.3 (M36) in order to increase the discussion forum and the impact of both tasks. IA2: • IA2 will be co-leaded by SoranaCimpan and KaveSalamatian • DI2.3 [M24] has been replaced by DI2.3.1 [M30] and DI2.3.2 [M39] providing a first and a final description of the curricula on internet science and gathering more input from partners. EINS Amendment - Workplan SEA3: • Former Task 3.3 has been absorbed by Task 3.1 based on the discussions with Nextworking and NSF and their inability of coordinating and co-funding such event at this moment. • Former DS3.2 [M6] has been replaced by DS3.2.x Internet Science – Going Forward: Internet Science Roadmap (M26, M36), a preliminary and final version of the roadmap to collect feedback by the EINS related activities. • DS3.5 submission date changed from M24 to M40 in order to have more time to coordinate with the publishers and to better organise and present the EINS results Project Management
