On October 31, 2012, students will begin with bellwork on a clean sheet of paper, numbering their responses for questions 1 to 6 on the front and 1 to 10 on the back. They will then pick up a copy of today's bellwork and begin working on it while the lesson on the states of matter is introduced. Activities include viewing models, engaging with online simulations, and watching a Brainpop video followed by a quiz. If time permits, students can run simulations on laptops and create visual representations of the four states of matter.
