  4. Aims & objectives • Raise money for Naomi House • To host a memorable evening for students in Southampton • To host a successful event • To help the venue to establish themselves

  5. The Event • Roller Disco • Dance off competition and limbo • Wednesday the 27th February • 7pm – 10.30pm • After Party at Oceana – Free entry included in ticket • Aim 80 - 100 people excluded staff • Theme: High School Cliques • Music: Chart

  6. Research • Surveymonkey • Publishedthrough Social Medias • 52 participants

  7. Numbers of staff and Guests • 80 – 100 Guests, Primarily Students from Solent University and Southampton University • 3 bar staff • 1 Duty manager • 3 roller stewards • 1 bouncer • 1 DJ • 6 organises (1 will be filming) • 1 photographer

  8. Venue • The MoClub, Southampton • To challenge ourselves • Easy accessibility - 10 min walk from city centre • Free parking • Experienced hosts of Roller Disco’s • Classic American themed • Access for disabled

Venue – What we will improve! • Signage from City Centre • Set up lights outside venue to improve visibility from distance • Have staff at the end of the road to direct guests • Improve seating areas • Make sure music is playing before doors opens • Have front of house staff outside 15 min to crowd manage

  10. Fundraising • Promotion video (price cut) • Pubquiz (16th January) + 50/50 raffle in the SU Top Bar (possibly raise £50 – £75) ?
