  4. Eugene School District 4J Advanced Career-Technical Sponsorship Program 5th year program for students who have taken CTE courses Students must complete all HS graduation requirements Tuition, books, and fees provided for 36 credit hours

  6. Pre-Apprenticeship Program Hands-on Training Industry supported & taught Assists towards entry into apprenticeship programs

  9. GOALS – Empower Girls, Non-traditional, STEM Mentors 2014 – ALL young women in 4j high schools invited to participate in afterschool program

  10. Lane Co. Culinary Skills Challenge • 2nd Annual – On LCC Campus in Culinary Classrooms • Friday, April 18, 2014 • Culinary Skills Competencies awarded • Eight Lane Co. High Schools participating

  11. Sessions: 1. Knife Skills 2. Sauce Cooking Skills 3.Cake Decorating Skills 4. STEM Infusion – Demo 5. Case Study – Multiple Skills Outcomes: *Partnerships *Certificate of Skill Competencies *Fun!

  12. Construction & Utilities Day • Partnerships with Industry • 500+ H.S. students registered • Hands-On Experiences

  13. LCC Hands-On-Career Day • Annual event offered by Lane Community College • 24 high schools and agencies participated • Lane offered 19 different hands-on workshops, plus campus tours • Each student chose and participated in 2 workshops
