  6. (2) Programmes/Options for selected students • Edusave Entrance Scholarships for Independent Schools (EESIS) • Advisory letter to advise students to opt for SAP schools • Arts/Music Elective Programme • 3rd Language (French/German/Japanese/MSP/CSP) • E/NA option and NA/NT option

  7. Edusave Entrance Scholarships for IS • Singapore Citizens with outstanding performance will be invited to apply for the Edusave Entrance Scholarships for Independent Schools (EESIS). • Students who are interested should opt for Independent Schools among their six choices. • EESIS will be awarded to the eligible student if he is admitted to an Independent School through DSA or the central S1 Posting Exe.

  8. Special Assistance Plan (SAP) schools • Top 10% cohort with CL • Top 11-30% cohort who meet the language criteria, CL – A* or HCL – Merit

  9. Arts/ Music Elective Programme • E course students who are interested may indicate the choice in the option form • Eligible to take up the programme if they are posted to the schools offering the programme

  10. 3rd Language (for top 10% students with MT) JAPANESE FRENCH Malay/ChineseSpecial Programme GERMAN

  11. Option Bands • Students in the E/NA or NA/NT Bands are allowed to indicate the course of preference • PSLE students who are in option bands must indicate a course of preference in the option form.

  12. (3) Option Capturing Procedures • Parents will be given 5 working days to submit the Option Forms. • Submission > Data Entry > School Verification > Parent Verification • Print 2 verification slips for each student

  13. Exercising the Options • With effect 2007, able to submit application through Internet. • Remember to print a copy for yourself if you submit your application through internet. • Advantage – 24/7 including weekends.

(5) Important Pointers • Affiliation – 1st & 2nd Choice • SJI as 1st choice, SPS as 1st choice • SJI as 1st choice, SPS as 2nd choice • SPS as 1st choice, SJI as 2nd choice • Admission to S’pore Sports School • Parents: please assign proxy if you are not in S’pore during the exercise. Letter must bear the NRIC and full name (as in NRIC) of the proxy as well as your signature and contact particulars.

  20. Posting Results • With effect 2007, posting results can be obtained from internet or via SMS.
